This series of webinars was created as a review of the study manuals to help applicants prepare to take the MN Dept. of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator Exam.

Details:

• This is a series of ten 1-hour training webinars recorded by Dr. Vera Krischik, University of Minnesota.
• Registrants will have access to the webinars for on-demand learning for a limited time. When you register for this series of training webinars, you will have access to them from April 29 until May 15, 2024. 
• Registrants will then attend a 1-hour live Zoom exam review and Q&A session with Dr. Krischik on either Friday, May 10, or Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 12:00pm-1:00pm. You may attend both sessions. Dr. Krischik will review the practice exam and answer questions, so you are STRONGLY encouraged to attend at least one of the live sessions. 
• Registrants will be sent a separate email that includes a link to the Webinar Series and Zoom session link with Dr. Krischik.
  

Note: Attending this training does not guarantee passing the Category A & E Exams. This training does NOT qualify for pesticide recertification.

• Category A: National Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual, 2nd Edition, published 2014, adopted by Minnesota February, 2015.
• Category A: Minnesota Supplement, 2nd Edition December 2012 (green cover)
• Category E: Turf and Ornamentals - 4th Edition, June 2014

AFTER COMPLETING THE VIRTUAL TRAINING:

Steps to Take the Pesticide Certification Exam:

1. Study the Category A and E Manuals. 
2. Review the Training Webinars.
3. Attend the Q&A with Dr. Krischik.
4. Apply and pay online at https://www.mda.state.mn.us/pesticide-fertilizer/pesticide-applicator-licensing
5. Schedule an appointment to take the test in St. Paul (651-201-6633, pesticide.testing@state.mn.us). 
   

At the Testing Location:

• Provide confirmation of your online application.
• Provide your drivers license or other proof of identity.
• Exams are given during normal business hours but are not otherwise timed.
• You must pass both Category A – Core and Category E – Turf and Ornamental exams by 70%.

The 16th Annual MNLA Foundation Shootout promises to be an event for you to connect with old friends, create new friends, and have lots of fun! Register as a team, pair, or solo. It is not necessary to be a member of MNLA to participate. Get ready for this terrific MNLA Foundation FUNdraiser, raising money for scholarships in the green industry. 

SOUTH ST. PAUL ROD & GUN CLUB ... the only gun club in the heart of the Twin Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are nestled in the backwaters of the Mississippi River, within a 10-minute drive of downtown St. Paul. Come try your hand at the shotgun sports of trap, skeet, sporting clays, 5-Stand sporting clays.  This club has a rifle range with 8 lanes, including 2 lanes up to 200 yards, as well as a pistol range, with 6 lanes up to 25 yards.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Registration includes 75 rounds of sporting clays, a hearty lunch, and refreshments on the course. Shooters should bring their own firearms and “target load” shells (no high-load shells allowed on the range). Four boxes of shells per shooter are suggested. Eye and ear protection is highly recommended. Ear plugs are available at the club for a small fee.
