Permeable interlocking concrete pavements (PICPs) have been increasingly used as a hardscape surface in designed landscapes since they first appeared on the market nearly 30 years ago. Not surprisingly, the availability, aesthetics, and quality of the various paver system components have improved over the years, as have their design and installation specifications, resulting in hardscapes that are ever more beautiful, dependable, and environmentally sound from a stormwater runoff perspective.
