Apprenticeship programs are a proven solution for recruiting, training and retaining entry-level employees – and they are expanding! In fact, the administration expects five million people will be trained through apprenticeships in 1,000 industries over the next five years. The new Landscape Management Apprenticeship Program allows the landscape profession to be more competitive with other industries that are also struggling for entry-level talent. As an apprenticed industry, the landscape profession is now considered a skilled-trade, which opens all kinds of doors with high school guidance counselors, veterans, and community workforce boards. Click on the program handbook for more information.
