Looking for unique turfgrass species options or guidance in overcoming specific lawn care challenges? Wouldn't it be great to connect with other industry professionals to share ideas and struggles? Join us for a day of practical lawn and turf care education.

11:30 a.m. to Noon:  Drive to  KLM Farms
Noon to 2:00 p.m.:  Education/Tour at KLM Farms

SITE DETAILS
TPC TWIN CITIES:  The Tournament Players Club of the Twin Cities is Minnesota's only private PGA Tour-owned property located in Blaine, MN. Designed by Arnold Palmer, the TPC is host to the 3M Open, a PGA Tour event being held from July 23rd to 26th, 2020. The course is managed by Superintendent Mark Michalski and his top notch staff. During the tour we will discuss renovations required to host a PGA Tour event, as well as management practices and grass species choices for one of the premier golf courses in Minnesota.

KLM FARMS:  One of the premier sod farms in Minnesota, KLM Farms produces high quality Kentucky bluegrass and fine fescues for various applications. Owned and operated by Kevin Mann, KLM Farms produces 500 to 1000 acres of sod on an annual basis. During this tour you will gain firsthand knowledge of high quality sod production, including planting, growing, harvesting, and quality control

Registration includes a boxed lunch and beverage at TPC Twin Cities and free parking at both sites. 

This is a drive yourself event. This event will take place outdoors rain or shine. Please dress for the weather. 

Register early. Class size is limited. We’ll follow state and CDC recommendations regarding face masks and distancing during the event.

But, as we all know, there are no promises during these times and we are taking this day by day and will announce any changes as they come if necessary. Should changes occur causing an event to be cancelled due to COVID-19 issues, your registration would be refunded in full.
