THIS WORKSHOP MEETS MDA’S COMMERCIAL PESTICIDE APPLICATOR RECERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR CATEGORIES A (CORE), E (TURF & ORNAMENTALS), AND J (FORESTRY, RIGHTS-OF-WAY, AND NATURAL AREAS)

By attending the Pesticide Recertification Workshop and having their current license scanned/checked in, applicators will obtain recertification credit. Applicators MUST bring their license identification card with them for check-in.

There are 2 Registration Options—Choose the Category Needed to Fulfill Recertification Requirements. Those recertifying for Category J must attend the entire recertification workshop (8:00 AM - 4:15 PM).

TWO REGISTRATION OPTIONS (Please arrive by 7:45 AM to check in)

1) Category A & E:  8:00 AM - 2:30 PM

2) Category A, E & J:  8:00 AM - 4:15 PM

MNLA/MTGF Registration Refund Policy: For all education events, MNLA/MTGF will gladly make a full refund of your registration fee if cancellation notice is received more than two business days in advance of the event. In the two business days prior to the event, a 50 percent refund will be given. No refunds will be given for no-shows or cancellations made the day of the event. Cancellations may be made in writing, by fax, or by telephone call received at the MNLA office during normal business hours.

John Loegering has worked on wildlife issues in urban and residential settings for over a decade. He is a regular contributor on wildlife-related topics to the Master Gardener, Master Naturalist, and White Earth Summer Science & Math Academy programs. He conducts research on the ecology and management of forest songbirds. During the academic year, he teaches courses in wildlife ecology and management, ornithology, mammalogy, and fisheries at the University of Minnesota, Crookston campus. He is a Certified Wildlife Biologist and H.T. Morse Distinguished Teaching Professor
