Charles Glossop, a business leader in the snow and ice management industry, will discuss what it takes to operate a snow business, including the following:

Charles Glossop came to the U.S. over 40 years ago from England. Charles has made a successful business leading the industry in snow and ice management. He speaks and consults world-wide in regard to the use of liquids for ice control. He is an active member, co founder and past president of SIMA one of the most respected snow related associations in the world. Charles holds an active CSP Certification- It is designed for business owners and executives, and focuses on critical elements of running a top-shelf business - from marketing, human resources, snow-specific operations, to legal, and more - it requires annual continuing education to maintain good standing. In addition to owning and operating Hantho Farms LLC-Hantho Outdoor Services, a successful Landscape and Snow business, Charles is chief grounds crew consultant at Metropolitan Airport in Minneapolis, private consultant for the Park Nicollet and Methodist hospitals and clinics, serves as an expert witness in slip and fall cases representing both plaintiff and defendants, is lead consultant for TOVAR Snow Professional out of Chicago and Indiana, and owner of Trebartha Global Consulting Inc.

But it is a powerful tool that can save you time (labor), equipment expense, and provide a higher level of service to your customers. Not to mention, minimize salt impact on micro and macro environments. Learn about what might or might not work for your business from those that have gone before you.

Ken Rost graduated from the University of Minnesota with an MS in Agricultural Sciences. He worked for Hypro (Pentair) for over 15 years working with sprayer OEM's internationally to advance spray system efficiencies and technology advancements. He founded Frost Inc. in 2006 to work directly with local institutions, including the U of M, to improve the level of service for ice control utilizing liquid ice control equipment. Take advantage of Ken’s experience and bring your questions for a very informative session!

MNLA Registration Refund Policy: For all education events, MNLA will gladly make a full refund of your registration fee if cancellation notice is received more than two business days in advance of the event. In the two business days prior to the event, a 50 percent refund will be given. No refunds will be given for no-shows or cancellations made the day of the event. Cancellations may be made in writing, by fax, or by telephone call received at the MNLA office during normal business hours.
