A preview event for the upcoming Nobel Conference, featuring the Theater of Public Policy (T2P2), the nationally known improv comedy troupe founded by Gusties Tane Danger and Brandon Boat, that uses unscripted theater to unpack and re-imagine hard, “thinky” issues. They'll be joined by two special guests:
Terry Morrow is a longtime DFL politician and former member of the Gustavus faculty who is currently running for the Nicollet County Board of Commissioners.
Tom Nuessmeier, class of 1983, is a Le Sueur County organic farmer and a federal farm policy organizer for the Land Stewardship Project.
Wednesday, July 11
In the 4H Building at the State Fairgrounds
6:30 p.m. - Reception
7:30 p.m. - Show
This is a FREE event
The show kicks off with your T2P2 host Tane Danger, class of 2007, interviewing the two expert guests about what the Farm Bill is, and what it has to do with soil. Then, believe it or not, those wonky topics will be brought to hilarious life by the cast of The Theater of Public Policy.
Don’t miss this free, fun and thought-provoking night for Gustavus alumni, parents, friends, and anyone who has ever eaten anything grown in soil.
