MNLA webinars provide timely educational topics from the comfort of your home or office.  Join us for one or all of the lunch-time webinars this spring!

Cost:  Unless otherwise noted, webinars are free for MNLA members; $29 for non-members.

Presenter:  Diane Narem is a researcher in the Department of Horticultural Sciences at the University of Minnesota. Currently, her research focus on native grasses. Her previous research was done at South Dakota State University and focused on prairie conservation and the Dakota skipper butterfly.

Native grasses provide numerous benefits to their surrounding environment. One little known benefit is that many native grasses act as larval food for numerous species of butterflies. Learn about the characteristics and site preferences of individual grasses and the butterflies that use them.
