Join us for a full day, hands-on workshop at a beautiful, local venue. During the morning session you will learn about species, site selection and choosing the best tools for the job. The rest of the workshop will be spent learning how to prune young trees, on the course from professional arborists. You will gain invaluable advice and experience on how to make proper pruning cuts using hand shears, hand saws and pole tools while avoiding common pitfalls and mistakes faced during the first 10 years of tree development.

 

This workshop is designed for turf and grounds professionals with little or no pruning experience and all necessary tools will be supplied for use during the workshop.

Fee: $130.00 (includes coffee & pastries (AM) and hot lunch catered by Midland Hills Country Club)
