SUPER TUESDAY: LOW VOLTAGE IRRIGATION WIRING, TROUBLESHOOTING & GROUNDING

This class provides eight hours of Power Limited Training credit orientated specifically towards the irrigation specialist, including four clock hours of specific 2014 National Electrical Code training and four hours of technical training.
We will discuss code implications and applications for landscape irrigation and low voltage lighting. Practical applications of Code and current technical applications to understanding and troubleshooting low voltage systems used in the landscape industry will also be presented.
The four-hours of technical training will cover topics such as:
- Irrigation troubleshooting of:
- irrigation controller and circuits
- wire location
Walk away with greater knowledge of irrigation wiring, troubleshooting techniques, and national electrical code violations, while getting continuing education credits for your PLT license.
Instructor, Andrew Lindquist, has 40-plus years in the landscape and irrigation industry. He holds a Power Limited Technician license, and is currently the Director of Continuing Education & Customized Training at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College. His job is to develop, promote and implement needed training for manufacturing and construction trades, transportation and logistics. Other positions Lindquist has held include: Rain Bird Service Corporation:Technical Trainer; John Deere Landscapes: Sales and Area Manager; Anoka Technical College: Instructor in the Landscape Department.
