Learn how social media can impact your business via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ and LinkedIn.  Discover the social media strategy that will best help you grow your micro-business, startup, coop or nonprofit presence online.

So now you have a website and are on social media, but how do you take your online presence to the next level?  … Enter paid advertising via social media.  Learn what the different advertising models and options are on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn and whether you should use them.  Time permitting, we will also look at how to get started, how the tools work, and tips for an effective ad campaign.

In 2012 Ben left the corporate world and rolled up his sleeves to realize his dream of working for himself, founding Skol Marketing to help small businesses and nonprofits get found online. He has a degree in Sports Marketing and Business from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and was the Local Partnership Manager for Google following stints with the Minnesota Vikings (Skol!), 360 Sports and Target.
At Google Ben led the creation and implementation of marketing strategies for Minnesota including Google+, Doodle 4 Google, Google Places (now Local), Google for Nonprofits, and Minnesota Get Your Business Online.  He is also an expert in Google+ Local, Google Apps, Google AdWords and Youtube.  Whew!
At Skol Marketing Ben creates websites for his clients, uses his experience inside Google to perform SEO for his clients’ sites, implements online marketing campaigns through the use of SEM and social media, and hosts workshops for small business owners on all of the above.
