MNLA Display Garden at the Minnesota State Fair |

As the biggest public relations effort of the year, this garden highlights the creativity and professionalism of the 1,400 members of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association. It is located outside the Agriculture/Horticulture Building at the corner of Carnes & Underwood. It was created and installed in 2007 and has matured into a beautiful display of sight, sound and smell.
MNLA Display Garden Includes
5,000 square feet
- A showcase of a wide variety of plant materials from Minnesota natives to tropical plants.
- The visual impact of colorful annuals.
- Perennials that attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
- Shrubs that provide an excellent foundation for any landscape.
- Native plants that require lower maintenance.
- Plants selected for late summer bloom time.
- A pondless waterfall created from stone from the Lake Superior region, a bubbling stream, and paths to enjoy the gardens.
- An environmentally friendly drip irrigation system.
- Landscape lighting that provides safety and evening beauty.
