Jon Horsman, Communications Director
Manage member and industry communications via MNLA websites, magazine and eNews. Managing editor of The Scoop. Provide graphic design to all communication as needed. Staff liaison to the following committees: Communications + Technology.
Sue Flynn, Executive Assistant
Manage implementation of educational programming for MNLA and assist with Northern Green Expo educational programming. Coordinate online Certification exams in cooperation with the interim executive director. Manage MNLA-CP recertification process. Oversee Scoop proofreading, article compilation, mailing list, and other logistics. Coordinate legislative appointments and logistics for Day on the Hill. Plan and manage MNLA Community Center at Expo. Coordinate industry segment and other networking groups including member lists and promotion of upcoming meetings. Manage catalog order fulfillment and communications with catalog partner states. Back-up on all clerical duties. Staff liaison to the following committees: Education & Certification and Networking.
Norman Liston, Accountant
Manage bookkeeping and financial transactions for the association and foundation. Working within the Investment Policy Statements established by the association board and the foundation board, work with MNLA’s bankers and investment consultants to maximize the return on financial reserves.
Jodi Larson, MNLA Foundation Program Director
Educate youth in our region about green industry careers and the environmental benefits provided by these professions. Create outreach tools and help facilitate ongoing connections between member firms and elementary / secondary schools. Build upon the positive messages within TheLandLovers.org by creating an active presence for the site on Twitter, Facebook and other social media. Manage MNLA Foundation Academic Awards scholarship program.
