MASLA - Designing Sustainability: A Blueprint for Native Plants
  April 18, 2008
Como Park Conservatory Auditorium, St. Paul

The Minnesota Chapter of ASLA is excited to introduce the first annual day long education session and would like to invite MNLA members to attend at the reduced MASLA member rate! The topic of sustainability is not an uncommon one for landscape professionals. This opportunity is different, however, because we have put together experts on the topic as it relates to the selection, specification and installation of native plants to present a comprehensive understanding of this key tool to restoration and sustainability. The introduction to the day is a presentation on the Sustainable Sites Initiative, SITES, spearheaded by ASLA and the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Society. We will end with a panel discussion moderated by Jim Hagstrom, ASLA followed by our expo. This is your chance to talk with representatives about how their products and services can help you with sustainability in your designs.
