Green Industry Leadership Institute
Are you looking for help developing the next leader in your green industry business? This Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association learning experience is designed to nurture leadership skills in your key staff, helping to create the next generation of leaders within MNLA member companies. The program will incorporate highly interactive exercises, discussions, lecture-style learning, and project-based activities and sessions. Using these multiple learning methods will increase takeaways for each person and create a rich adult learning environment. Plus, irreplaceable “from the trenches” experience will come from green industry personnel and other subject matter experts. The Green Industry Leadership Institute will prepare your employee to take a stronger and more confident leadership role in your company.
This unique program is grounded in leadership development best practices and aims for students to leave the class taking ownership of their company’s mission and bottom line, having greater confidence in decision making, and with new skills in identifying and facilitating solutions within their company. In addition, they will develop a network of peer advisors to engage with as they grow and advance in their career. The program fee is $1,300, which includes all sessions, materials, dinner at each session, and a ticket to the MNLA Awards Gala where each successful participant will receive a certificate of completion. MNLA will only accept a limited number of participants into each program. Successful candidates will journey together for one year, meeting 10 times between February and December.
We are thrilled to once again have Resultants for Business, Inc. (RFB) as our professional facilitators and core curriculum instructors. RFB is a non-traditional business advisory firm that works with action-oriented leaders, helping them to eliminate frustrations, achieve breakthrough growth, and maximize the value of their company.
Sessions take place from 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Supper will be served during all meetings.
In addition to class preparation and participation, each candidate ultimately produces a work outcome for their business. The goal is that their project will improve the company that sent them to the Institute.
